Costume Contest Winners

Halloween Festivities at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology

On October 27th and 28th, students and faculty at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology held Halloween costume and pumpkin carving contests in preparation for the season’s celebrations.

Costume awards were given for the funniest, the most original, and the best overall costumes for both the faculty and the students. Student awards went to Michael Knight (Bell Hop) for Funniest, William Simmons, (Skeleton Man) for Most Original, and Deborah Messner, (Really Scary Witch) for Best Overall. Faculty awards went to Brenda Bustard (Blooming Idiot) for Funniest, Gene Dixon (Aging Hippie) for Most Original, and Omar Thompson (Disco Fever) for Best Overall.

And here are the pictures of out faculty winners:

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to display images of the student costumes at this time. But, take my word for it, they are good.

Pumpkin Contest Winners

P.I.T.’s first pumpkin decorating contest was a smashing success (the contest was, not the pumpkins).

Here are the winners:

Second Place: Flowers

Third Place: Mummy

And here are the other entries

We are currently in the process of obtain permission to upload the picture of the costume contest winners. Please be patient.
